UPDATE #5 ON NCCU vs. UCLA TRAVEL PACKAGES 

HOTELS

The interest to see the Champions play continues! We have less than 10 rooms left at the Hilton Pasadena and interest in and demand for the NCCU vs UCLA game, September 16, 2023 - Rose Bowl stadium- Pasadena, CA, continues to grow.

We continue to get many inquiries about additional rooms at the Omni. We will not know if we can get more rooms there until next month, June 2023.  We have identified a top tier hotel in both Pasadena and Los Angeles and will secure another block of rooms if interested is shown. We need your help before doing so.  Please send and email to coastal.sc.nccuaa@gmail.com if you need a room and the city you'd like to stay - Pasadena or Los Angeles (Use subject: Hotel Lodging). At this time, we don’t know the rate that we will be given, but we will work to keep it lower than $250 per night.

TRANSPORTATION 

The NCCU Alumni Association is working with a LA based bus company to provide round trip transportation from the airport to hotel (Omni Los Angeles and Hilton Pasadena) and from the hotel to the Rose Bowl stadium.  

For those patrons who booked their hotel rooms directly and are interested in transportation, please provide the following information:

9/14/23 - Arrival time, name of airline and hotel, email address or phone number for each traveler

9/17/23 - Name of airline and flight departure time for each traveler

We will build a pickup schedule based on your input and will let you know the price shortly thereafter.

TICKETS

We anticipate having information about football tickets and seat options in June 2023.  If you would like to sit with NCCU, we will have seats available for purchase: general admission/reserved and club level.  Information about securing a suite for the game will also be provided. 

Many have inquired about tickets being on sale through various websites like Vivid Tickets.  These tickets are season ticket holders reselling their tickets. We will have a block of tickets for sale in June.  

Lastly, get ready for the game by purchasing your E-Swag Bag for $39 (plus shipping and handling) to celebrate our “Champions On the Rise”.  The bag includes: clear plastic bag, t-shirt, pom poms, sunglasses, and towel. 

Reminder if you booked a package via the NCCU Alumni Association:

• travel bookings are available until June 1, 2023

• final payments are anticipated to be due by July 14, 2023 (60 days before the event)

Only Need a Hotel?

The NCCU Alumni Association has negotiated special rates for the weekend at both the Omni Los Angeles and the Hilton Pasadena hotel. The Omni is SOLD OUT.  Rooms are still available at the Hilton in Pasadena. 

The room rate at the Hilton Pasadena is $189 per night, based on single or double occupancy.  Please note there is a three (3) night minimum.
