Friend, Welcome to THE NCCU Ultimate Homecoming Experience! As a loyal member of NCCU's Alumni Association (or future member), we'd like to share information about where you need to be Thursday, November 2 through Sunday, November 5. There will be a lot of events during the week and weekend but please try to support events that are supporting NCCU or NCCU students directly. Below are the events we recommend you attend and support. NCCU's Office of Alumni Relations will host multiple events for Class Reunions and the Alumni Concert. If your graduation year ends in a 3 or 8, click here. Host Hotel: The Sheraton Imperial-RTP (the hotel is sold out) is the host hotel and the main location for all events that will take place away for the sloping hills and verdant green of NCCU. For the latest event and ticket information, visit nccu.edu/homecoming. Campus Security The safety of NCCU's community and guests at the 2023 Ultimate Homecoming Experience is the University’s top priority. NCCU Police will enforce the University’s policies and regulations, and North Carolina State general statutes, including those related to alcohol, illegal substances and weapons. Those who violate these rules will face consequences, either permanent trespass from NCCU, probable cause search or arrest. The following security updates will be implemented to provide a safe and enjoyable week of Homecoming festivities: NCCU POLICE PARTNERSHIPS NCCU Police will partner with the North Carolina Alcohol Law-Enforcement (ALE) and the Anti-Counterfeit Task Force from the North Carolina Secretary of States Office to reduce illegal alcohol violations and the sale of counterfeit merchandise during homecoming festivities. All violations will be handled according to the law. LIBRARY BOWL Large and medium-sized bags, including bookbags and purses, will not be permitted into the Library Bowl area. All individuals are required to use CLEAR BAGS ONLY. Individuals found carrying prohibited bags will be escorted off campus. Game-Day Parking and Road Closures Lawson, Fayetteville and Cecil streets will close at 6 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, to accommodate the flow of the Homecoming parade and other activities.
